What You’ll Drive

As a Psychology Teacher and School Counsellor:

  • Curriculum Delivery and Assessment: Design and deliver the Psychology curriculum effectively in English, manage student assessment, and utilise data to ensure academic progress aligned with Thai and Australian standards.
  • Curriculum Development: Continuously develop and review lesson plans and learning resources to ensure the curriculum meets students' developmental and academic needs.
  • Counselling Services & Crisis Management: Provide ethical and confidential individual and group counselling services to address academic stress, peer relationships, family issues, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Lead crisis interventions and manage appropriate external referrals when necessary.
  • Case Management & Documentation: Maintain confidential counselling records, track student progress through systematic case management, and coordinate with external mental health professionals when specialized support is needed.
  • Pastoral Consultation and Support: Offer expert consultation to Class Advisors (Tutors), parents, and leadership to implement strategies supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Parent and Staff Consultation: Conduct workshops and training sessions for parents and staff on mental health awareness, student support strategies, and effective intervention approaches.
  • School-wide Well-being Programmes: Plan and execute proactive student development activities, including Educational Visits, targeted Workshops, and school-wide Mental Wellness Campaigns. This includes serving as the Primary Sponsor for related co-curricular clubs.
  • Assessment and Screening: Conduct school-wide mental health screening and utilise assessment data to identify students at risk and inform evidence-based support interventions.
  • Ethical Practice and Development: Engage in continuous professional learning and adhere strictly to the professional Code of Ethics for school psychologists and counsellors.
  • Data Utilisation: Employ counselling and academic data to evaluate the efficacy of support programmes and provide strategic input to management for systemic and resource improvement.
  • Additional Duties: Support other student and parent-related activities and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Thai nationality with strong English proficiency (preferred scores: TOEIC 900+, TOEFL iBT 90+, or IELTS 6.5+).
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or a related field.
  • Ability to teach Psychology in English to high school students (ages 15–19).
  • Solid knowledge of student evaluation methods and curriculum-aligned assessments.
  • Experience supporting high school students in academic, emotional, and personal development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including with parents and cross-functional teams.
  • Competence in classroom supervision, behavior guidance, and student safety protocols.
  • Basic first aid knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to support a diverse and inclusive school environment.
