Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a committee member for academic administration and quality assurance at the institution.
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute the preparation of transcripts and related documents.
  • Support registration, assessment, and quality assurance operations to meet established standards.
  • Promote and encourage staff to understand the principles and objectives of quality assurance.
  • Plan and implement registration, assessment, and quality assurance activities to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with various departments and external organizations to support the institution's objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Registration and Assessment Tasks

  1. Develop plans, projects, activities, and work calendars for registration and assessment tasks.
  2. Establish rules and guidelines for assessment and evaluation aligned with educational standards.
  3. Develop high-quality and appropriate assessment tools for students.
  4. Maintain student performance data, record results in the database, and report outcomes to administrators and relevant parties.
  5. Organize examination schedules, coordinate examination processes, and address issues such as ineligible students or those failing assessments.
  6. Review and compile attendance records and academic performance evaluations.
  7. Prepare official transcripts and submit reports to relevant authorities.
  8. Compile statistics and analyze student achievement to inform teaching and learning improvements.
  9. Coordinate the evaluation of desirable characteristics, critical thinking, analytical skills, and writing skills of students.

Educational Quality Assurance Tasks

  1. Study and analyze educational standards to define quality assurance guidelines for the institution.
  2. Develop tools and processes for evaluating educational quality within the institution.
  3. Create and update manuals or guidelines related to quality assurance.
  4. Monitor and assess the performance of various departments to ensure compliance with established standards.
  5. Collect data and prepare internal and external quality assessment reports.
  6. Support the professional development of staff in quality assurance.
  7. Liaise with accreditation agencies and other relevant organizations.
  8. Prepare for external evaluations and inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Measurement or a related field.
  • Experience in academic, registration, or assessment roles in an educational institution.
  • Proficiency in English communication, with the ability to work and convey information effectively.
  • Honest, diligent, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes and educational standards are an advantage.
