Key Responsibilities
1.Academic Advising
- Guide students in course selection and academic planning.
- Support students in understanding their learning pathway throughout middle school and high school.
- Ensure students meet academic and graduation requirements.
2.Student Monitoring & Intervention
- Monitor student academic performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Identify students who require additional academic support.
- Generate reports to support academic advising and intervention strategies.
3.Pastoral Support
- Provide counseling, mentorship, and guidance for students' personal and emotional development.
4.Safety & Student Welfare
- Ensure safe guarding and student protection protocols are followed.
- Provide a confidential and supportive space for student concerns.
5.Communication
- Act as a liaison between students, families, teachers, and the school.
- Provide weekly reports regarding student well-being, learning progress, and relevant matters.
6.Career & Academic Development
- Organize student workshops and orientation activities.
- Support students with career exploration and academic goal setting.
7.Collaboration
- Work closely with the Senior Advisor on student cases and operational matters.
- Collaborate with teachers to gain deeper insights into individual student academic progress.
8.Student Activities
- Coordinate and organize non-academic student activities.
- Facilitate at least one student activity per month.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, orarelatedfield. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the student supportfield.
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Ability to support students in a fast-paced school environment.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing) with TOEIC or IELTS score required.
