Learn Satit Pattana School seeks high-school technology teachers for a May start.

The technology program is currently delivered to junior high-school students. Our intention is to broaden the scope of the program over the next three years to include:

  • Programming
  • Analogue and digital electronics
  • Physical computing and automation
  • robotics
  • 2D and 3D design
  • 3D printing and materials fabrication

We envisage that our technology courses will be cross-curricular and integrate with other disciplines; in particular science, mathematics, engineering and architecture, but also art and design, and social sciences.

As such, we require an exceptional candidate for an opportunity as technology teacher. As the scope for the role is extremely broad, the role could be tailored to the strengths of the candidate and what else they could offer the school. An opportunity for a leadership role is possible for suitably qualified and/or experienced candidates.

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Temporary license from TCT
  • Enhanced ICT competency

  • Design software (TinkerCAD/OpenSCAD /Shapr3D/Fusion 360)
  • 3D printing (best practices/slicing/trouble-shooting)
  • Materials fabrication (plastics/wood/metal/ceramics/textiles)

We welcome applications from enthusiastic teachers with limited experience in technology, as on-going training will be provided.
